Founded in 1967, California Indian Legal Services is devoted exclusively to the cause of protecting and promoting Native American rights. With a mission to protect and advance Indian rights, foster Indian self-determination, and facilitate tribal nation building, CILS provides legal services to California tribes, tribal organizations, and Native American individuals throughout the state. CILS provides no-cost legal services to indigent individuals, tribes, and tribal entities residing in California that are requesting assistance with federal Indian law issues.

Tinfed began life as Dark Issue in 1988, releasing one demo. They changed their name to Elegy in 1990, and released three more demos and a 7" (you can purchase this 7" below.) In 1993, they changed their name to Tinfed and broke up in 2002. As Tinfed, they released three albums, a 7", a remix album, and had a song on the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack. The members currently (2021) play in Death Valley High, Wet The Rope, Electrogroup, Will Haven and Team Sleep and work as producers and engineers.
